2019 Lorine Niedecker WI Poetry Festival Presenters

Lisa Fishman is the author of six books of poetry, including FLOWERCART, Current, and The Happiness Experiment. Her collection, 24 Pages and other poems, was published by Wave Books in 2015. She is the first Lorine Niedecker Poet-in-Residence in Fort Atkinson and Blackhawk Island. A dual citizen of the US and Canada, Fishman lives in Orfordville and Madison, Wisconsin and teaches at Columbia College Chicago.

Chuck Stebelton is author of An Apostle Island (Oxeye Press, 2019) and The Platformist (Cultural Society, 2012). His first book, Circulation Flowers, was winner of the inaugural Jack Spicer award. As a birder and Wisconsin Master Naturalist volunteer he has offered interpretive hikes for organizations including Lynden Sculpture Garden, Friends of Lorine Niedecker, Woodland Pattern Book Center, and Interfaith Older Adult Programs. He serves as Program Coordinator for Serving Older Adults of Southeast Wisconsin and is a participant in Lynden’s residency program.

Richard MeierRichard Meier is the author of four books of poetry, most recently February March April April (Oxeye Press) and In the Pure Block of the Whole Imaginary (Omnidawn). He has led workshops on poetry and walking in Chicago, Kenosha, Joshua Tree, Fort Atkinson, and at the Lynden Sculpture Garden. He is writer-in-residence at Carthage College and lives in Madison, WI.
