The Friends of Lorine Niedecker are proud to announce that the Lorine Niedecker cabin has been placed on the National Registry of Historic Places. This six year process would not have happened without the support of the Friends of Lorine Niedecker, the Wisconsin Historical Society, Jefferson County Preservation Commission, the Town of Sumner and especially, the owners of the property who are very generous with their support of the Lorine Niedecker legacy.
