From 2009 and 2019, the Friends of Lorine Niedecker organized an annual Lorine Niedecker Wisconsin Poetry Festival in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Information about past festivals can be found below:
2019 Lorine Niedecker Wisconsin Poetry Festival
The 2019 Lorine Niedecker Poetry Festival was comprised of three events:
- Write the Walk – An observational writers workshop on Black Hawk Island Road, taught by Richard Meier and Chuck Stebelton. Saturday, May 11.
- Writing at Lorine’s – Writers workshop at Lorine’s Cabin taught by Lisa Fishman. Saturday, September 28.
- FOLN Open Mic – at Café Carpe moderated by Amy Lutzke. Friday, October 1.
